2. The essentials

This website sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and embeds no third-party tracking, analytics or advertising services. All content – including fonts and images – is delivered from its own server; no external content delivery networks and no Google Fonts are loaded.

3. Hosting

This website runs on server infrastructure in a data centre within the European Union. Data arising from your visit is processed there only. 4. Server log files

Every time this website is accessed, the server automatically records information transmitted by your browser:

This data is processed to keep the website running smoothly and securely and to detect attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log files are kept only as long as necessary for these purposes and then deleted. They are not combined with other data sources.

5. Cookie-free audience measurement

When a page loads, your browser sends a short message to this server. It contains the page requested, its title and – if available – the domain of the website you came from. A second message indicates that you interacted with the page, for example by scrolling. No cookies are set, no identifiers are assigned and no data is stored on your device, so individual page views cannot be combined into a usage profile.

These messages are recorded in the server log like any other request and are evaluated for statistical purposes only – to understand which content is used and to tell visits apart from automated requests. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in designing this website to meet its visitors' needs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Contact by email

If you email me, I process the information you provide (for example your name, email address, company and message) in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise my legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your data is deleted once the enquiry has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
